Field Technician
Don’t dismiss it because of what it is on the surface. It does not sound glamorous but there is a lot to it. Owning a home is at the top of a lot of people’s list, and in metropolitan areas many people do not do their own maintenance. Our work is primarily roof, gutter and window cleaning on houses. We don’t pressure wash roofs. We routinely brush moss and use a backpack blower to clear debris. We treat roofs to kill moss. We use a variety of ground and roof based anchors to rig fall protection while we are working. We patch holes and diagnose problems. We clean a lot of windows. We pressure wash decks and patios. We do minor fixes and look for ways to add value for our visit to the homeowner.
Some of our best technicians are those who had physical work experience while growing up. If you are forced to figure something out it develops a person into a problem solver. If you value work and take pride in efficiency, quality and safety then you might find that our work is enjoyable and rewarding on several levels. A lot of our technicians are people who would not have thought of themselves performing this type of labor but have found they really enjoy the independence and ability to earn income based on efficiency and hard work.
We have an immersive, multi-week paid training program, and techs who successfully complete it are issued a work truck, tools and equipment, and an iPhone.
We are an equal opportunity employer and we are proud to have a drug-free workplace. All employment offers are contingent upon applicant successfully completing drug screening (including marijuana) and background screening. Due to the high level of interest in this position we will contact only those we believe to be a fantastic fit.
