A Verde Account Director (AD) is the single point of contact for the delivery of facilities services to an assigned Fortune 500 Client account. As a Verde Account Director, you own everything from customer experience, scope and KPI management, team engagement, and financial performance. What you'll do at Verde

 

If this sound like fun, you'll be a perfect fit!

 

  • Launch your account. You are the primary lead for providing the smooth implementation and execution of services for your assigned account. This includes completing tasks on our transition tracker and hiring site management for new and future site launches within your account. 3, 2, 1 blast off!  
  • Walk your buildings. Strap on your Fitbit because you get to a lot of time Managing by Walking Around (MBWA) buildings, interacting with clients, and engaging with the Verde Vibes Crew at your assigned site.  
  • Be an ambassador for sustainability. You help ensure eco-friendly cleaning, recycling, composting, and site education. You'll work with an EHS Manager to get monthly reports for waste diversion and green spends and help our customers increase diversion rates and improve indoor air quality.
  • Create customer advocacy. Customers love you. You are proactive regarding needs within your control and responsive to needs outside of it. Pride in your work and customer care is in your blood. As a result, you earn the trust of raving fans. This supports organic growth, retention of your account, and expansion of account services.
  • Ensure KPI and scope compliance. You responsible for making sure all sites within the portfolio maintain compliance with contractual agreements. This includes preparing and conducting regular business reviews of KPIs to Client and Verde Leadership Team.

  • Be an awesome boss. You'll direct all account activities including oversight of site managers. Conduct regular management meetings to train and align expectations, reward, incentivize, empower, and engage your Verde Vibes Crew at every level. The buck stops with you. If you're team is not performing, you take ownership.
  • Deliver quality services. Together with your management team, you'll ensure operational excellence, quality, safety, sustainability, scheduling, training, and employee engagement. An awesome boss will develop an awesome team who will deliver exceptional service.
  • Manage financial performance. Manage your own P&L for your assigned account. Stay on budget and achieve financial performance your way. We won't question every purchase so long as you are meeting client and company expectations, acting responsibly, and taking care of your Verde Vibes crew.  
  • Problem-solve. Don't tell us why something can't be done. Instead, you'll figure out creative solutions and present options with associated risks and benefits so an informed decision can be made. 
  • Innovate. Your ideas matter and are valued. In fact, we are counting on you to suggest service enhancements to streamline operations, deliver efficiencies, reduce cost, and / or improve the customer experience. So go ahead and tell us your crazy, out-of-the-box ideas. We want to hear them!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum 2 years of team management experience
  • Minimum 2 years customer relationship management experience
  • Proficiency or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in any of the following would be a plus: facilities, green cleaning / custodial, critical space / cleanroom, EHS, LEED, and / or waste management

Location

This is an onsite, non-remote position. Selected AD will be assigned to a Fortune 500 Client Site located in Northwest Phoenix, Arizona near Loop 303 & Deer Valley Road.
